IAM Scholarship
This scholarship competition is open each year to members of the IAM and their children throughout the United States and Canada under the procedures and rules of eligibility explained in this Announcement.
The 2018 Scholarship Competition begins in August 2017 and runs through February 28, 2018. Beginning in August 2017, applications will be accepted for the 2018 Scholarship Competition. Applications will be available to seniors in high school and IAM members.

Frank J. Bauza Scholarship
The 2018 Frank J. Bauza Scholarship application process has officially opened. The Scholarship Committee has expanded the award to include any Local 510 member or their children, continuing their education towards a two or four year program. Applications can be obtained by sending an email to frankjbauzascholarship@iamlocal510.com.
The Frank J. Bauza Scholarship, was established in honor of Frank J. Bauza’s 50 years of dedicated service and solidarity with The Automotive Mechanics Lodge Local 510. To honor Frank’s legacy the membership established a Committee that will oversee the application, eligibility, selection, and award process.
Once a year, a $1000.00 scholarship will be awarded to one qualified recipient, continuing their education in a two or four year program.
Qualification highlights for this scholarship include: Any Local 510 member or their children, continuing their education towards a two or four year program, are eligible for this award. One parent or legal guardian must be a member, in “good standing” and have belonged to Local 510 for a minimum of 3 years. The application deadline will be April 30 of each year, and the award being presented at the September General Membership Meeting.
The applicants for the scholarship must include their High School transcripts, first semester grades (graduating year), and a 500 word essay. Union Plus Scholarship
Apply for the Union Plus College Scholarship with cash awards ranging from $500 to $4,000 for undergraduate and graduate students.
The 2018 Union Plus Scholarship application deadline is January 31, 2018.
The 2018 Scholarship application is now closed. Awards will be announced on May 31, 2018.
The 2019 Scholarship application will be available in mid-June 2018.
